The Sarasota County Comprehensive Plan (Comp Plan) which is one of the key guides to decision-making related to the physical development and enhancement of the quality of life in Sarasota County, recently went through a significant update that became official in December 2016. To help users familiar with previous Comp Plan policy numbers, a Policy List has been put together, showing previous Goals, Policies and Objectives and their revised policy numbers in the newly adopted Plan.
In the coming weeks, an interactive Comp Plan will be available online. The interactive plan will include hyperlinks, interactive media and be easy to navigate. You'll receive an email when this version of the Comp Plan is live.
