meet qualified candidates for all local primary races

Qualified candidates for any scheduled local race are welcome to attend the 6:30 social before the 7:00 CONA forum in order to make contact with voters and to distribute literature and yard signs, even if not scheduled as a member of the panel for the forum. Because so few forums are scheduled, we are providing this opportunity for all local race candidates.

CONA election forums will be held each month through October at the Sarasota Garden Club 1131 Boulevard of the Arts see www.conasarasota.org/meetings.html for calendar dates and directions

  1. Apparently going before CONA (the council of neighborhoods, representing a low estimate of 35,000 voters), isn't important to county commission candidate Ziegler. The message is that he is counting on getting into office by being promoted and financed by the big development interests and their cabal of political henchmen (identity stealing Bob Waechter, dirty campaigns captain "Mac" Stevenson, prince of dark money Eric Robinson, etc.) to the uninformed voters who have no clue about why the local government is encouraging rapid growth and massive congestion and destroying the environment, while cutting services and support for public libraries, parks, and nature facilities. Don't be suckered into voting for the cabal candidates -- your children and grandchildren will appreciate your concern for the future. Either of other two running for district 2 will represent just the citizens, vote smart in the August primary.
